Meek Mill has had some past beef with Taxstone, but apparently that’s been put aside as they were able to sit down and talk about Meek’s life over the past couple of years.
Beef’s been a big part of that life. One of his most recent bouts has been with fellow Philly rapper Beanie Sigel, and on that topic, he says his whole opinion of Beanie has changed over the past month or two.
"I don't feel nothing," Meek said when asked about his relationship with Beans. "I just thought that was — I don't know what that was… I looked up to Beanie Sigel my whole life."
Drake is perhaps the foe in his most infamous beef; however Meek hasn’t, at length, spoken about it. He says he sees things differently than most on the outside.
“I ain’t think it was no s**t that people was gonna be like, ‘you got killed.’ I thought it was hot,” he explained. “Like when we shoot at n****s, you gotta shoot a n***a through the heart. When you wake up in the mirror, you looking in the mirror, you hearing what the n***a told you -- some shit about yourself that you can’t even deal with. That’s how we battle where we come from.”
Also during the interview, Meek Mill described his relationship with boo Nicki Minaj, his other beef with Game, which he calls “premeditated,” and more. Listen to the most recent episode of Tax Season below.
