Diddy Has Some Passionate Thoughts for Anyone Involved in 'Rap Drama'

Cooning and buffooning.

Bad Boy Records monarch Diddy has had it up to here with the bickering and battling in hip-hop’s good name, and he’s letting everybody know it.

While the latest feud buzzing around hip-hop’s exclusive circle belongs to Chris Brown and Soulja Boy, Diddy decided to express his discontent with rap drama in a new video in which he said that everyone could use a lesson in hip-hop’s archaic, extensive history. And since the message is apparently geared toward the millennial generation of rap, he went on to mention that this important history lesson can be accessed via Netflix and YouTube.

“Netflix has this great documentary on hip-hop and the history of hip-hop,” he began, visibly stressed out, in the video. “I know Steve Stoute did one — just go to YouTube, man. Go to YouTube, man.”

Because of the disheartening shenanigans rolling around social media, the New York rap veteran said that he’s even shied away from his phone and other “social devices” because it’s all just become too much for him.

“It’s too much cooning and buffooning,” he said in the clip, then repeating his second emphasizing a bit firmer, “it’s too much cooning and buffooning!”

Diddy explains that once he gathers up all of his thoughts and, obviously, not overcome with so much passion, he’d be able to coherently articulate his thoughts.

“And I’m not one to cast no stones, but dammit, I know when to stop,” he continued. “So I’m just wishing everybody love and positive energy.”

Despite his heavy heart on the matter, he then decided to let go and let God, sharing a prayer for the state of hip-hop before the clip suddenly closed out.

Amen to that, Puff.
