Migos Will Actually Be Teaching a College Class

Raindrop. Desktop.

There's no question that many hits from Georgia’s radio-dominating rap clique Migos have made it into the dorm rooms, off-campus parties and headphones of young college students.

Now, the hip-hop trio is making it into college classrooms for a seat in the professor’s chair as well with a special course, “Culture Class.”

According to a flyer posted to the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music’s Twitter handle, Migos will be hosting the event at New York University’s Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Film Center. The trio’s label homes, 300 Entertainment and Quality Control, are collaborating with the university to host the event as well.

The nod from such a respected education institution comes as Migos’ second official recognition for 2017 after jack of all entertainment trades Donald Glover gave the group a personal shout-out during the Golden Globe Awards. Another honorable curriculum mention might be their Billboard-charting success with their latest fan-favorite smash single, “Bad and Boujee.” And parents shouldn’t worry too much about whether their kids are receiving a quality school lesson from the group since they do, in fact, have what we might call just a little experience with kids and education.

We’re expecting high attendance at NYU after this one.

Check out the flyer and where to purchase tickets for the event below.
