It’s no secret that world-famous boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and the King of the South, T.I., have had a shaky past with the rapper’s wife, Tiny, at the center of the drama.

Though a highly recognized part of that past involved a physical altercation between the two men, it seems as if T.I. has a new motto with regard to Mayweather.

During an Instagram live session, T.I. read a comment aloud in which a fan asked him to square back up with Mayweather. In a light-hearted approach to the fight invitation, he smiled and laughed, wondering why fans continue to revisit the hatchet between him and the now-retired boxing mogul.  

“Come on, cuz. Again?,” T.I. said. Sharing what seems to be one of his favorite life maxims, he didn’t directly address the possibility of another fight. However, he did assert that his attitude toward such a happening is that of a godly nature, offering: “Aye man, another tip from TIP: to fear any man walking the earth is disrespectful to God. There — how about that?”

Repeating himself once more, he laughed and joked accordingly with his company in the background. Considering that the dust may be finally settling amid divorce plans from Tiny and him focusing his attention on political activism while Trump takes office, it doesn’t look like the Atlanta rap star will be raising his fists anytime soon.
