According to Joe Budden, the World Needs a Biopic on This Hip-Hop Label

He's onto something here.

This week, BET Networks launched its highly anticipated mini-series, dedicated to an in-depth retelling of the story of '80s sensation New Edition.

The series, aptly titled The New Edition Story, was unfolded in three installments, with each special premiere finding record-breaking success and captivating audiences far and wide, with countless viewers taking to Twitter to participate in trending topics such as #BobbyBrown, #CandyGirl, #LukeJames and more.

In addition to stirring up feel-good nostalgia regarding the super group that once reigned supreme, Joe Budden found himself inspired to suggest the next topic BET should dedicate an entire mini-series to.

Taking to Twitter, the rapper tuned in to watch the biopic unfold in real time, going on to later offer his own opinion on what he'd like to see next from the franchise.

"The Murder Inc biopic would probably be the greatest (HipHop) 1 ever now I think about it," Budden wrote on Twitter, with many quick to hit him up in his mentions and second the notion.

"Murder Inc Biopic gives u X, Hov, Big, Ja, Supreme, 50, Irv, the Feds & sex scandals everywhere…. they win," he concludes.

We have to admit, judging from the history of the trailblazing record label, he does raise an interesting proposition.

Take a look at Joe Budden sharing his two cents in the tweets below.
