Migos is Still Doing Damage Control Over Homophobic Comments About iLoveMakonnen

They completely did a 180.

Although it has been almost two months since Migos first originally shared their controversial commentary regarding fellow Atlanta rapper iLoveMakonnen and his choice to reveal that he is gay, the trio is still being haunted by their past homophobic statements.

While Migos members QuavoTakeoff and Offset have collectively issued an apology for the commentary they made during a conversation with Rolling Stone, all is not forgiven. During follow-up interviews, it appears as though the group has truly learned a lesson in tolerance and are now advocating for unapologetic individuality, as inspired directly by Makonnen.

During a recent conversation with TMZ, the rap group shared some support for iLoveMakonnen. However, considering Makonnen's response to their initial statement, the love Migos is showing may fall on deaf ears.

"Choose your route, man, be yourself," Outset shared with reporters. "It's cool to be yourself."

Quavo then spoke up, adding, "We make good music together. I done made music with Makonnen, Frank Ocean, we all make great music."

The interviewer then asked if the group would ever perform at a gay club, and despite being met with reactionary hesitation, Takeoff offered that they would if "the bag long enough."

Take a look at the group being reminded of their past comments and continue to do a little damage control in the clip below.
