Here's How Young Thug Dodged Reported Felony Drug and Weapon Charges
Despite remaining steady on his rap takeover for 2017, Young Thug hasn’t had the best run-ins with the law thus far this year.
Fortunately, however, he seems to have caught a break on felony drug and weapon charges following a July 2015 police raid of his Atlanta home, and all thanks to a simple technicality.
TMZ reports that Thugger has been cleared of all charges after his legal team disputed the raiding officers’ illegal search warrant leading to felony cocaine, marijuana and gun possession charges.
Their argument in defense of the JEFFERY rapper proved successful, as the district attorney on the case dropped all charges against him, the site adds. Already having been held in police custody for terroristic threats, the raid surfaced around the same time that he and Birdman had been linked to Lil Wayne's tour bus shooting that, thankfully, left no fatalities. Hopefully, the W in this case can inspire Thugger to steer clear of anymore messy legal business in the meantime.
