Kendrick Lamar Officially Shuts Down Rumors of an Immediate Follow-up to 'DAMN.'

His fans are a little disappointed...

While fans have been eagerly discussing the theory that Kendrick Lamar would be following up his latest release, DAMN., with a second album, the Compton rapper has today (April 21) taken to Twitter to officially shut the rumor down.

While he has previously reassured fans that he does in fact have more music in the works, the 29-year-old has since clarified exactly what that means — for now.

"KenFolk," Lamar wrote on Twitter, addressing his die-hard fans. "ThankU 4 the desire of always anticipating new music of my own. None is coming. My work will be in our future TDE dates tho. #DAMN"

Naturally, his mentions caught on fire, with some joking that "KenFolk" was the name of the new album, beginning a whole new batch of creative theories.

Even though Lamar's DAMN. is currently poised to have the biggest first week of 2017 for an album so far, it appears as though fans will never be satisfied. Sigh...

Take a look at Kendrick Lamar confirming to his fans that he will next be featured on the work of his fellow TDE roster in the tweet below. Also, be sure to read the replies to this one because they are oh-so-entertaining, for real.
