LOL: Jennifer Hudson Has Bars

And we are seriously telling you.

Chicago’s vocally explosive Grammy- and Academy Award-winning talent Jennifer Hudson has one of R&B and soul’s most revered singing gifts and incomparable voices.

But that doesn’t mean she can’t whip out a hip-hop bar or two for anyone who needs it, like James Corden for his "Drop the Mic" rap battle on The Late Late Show Wednesday night (June 7).

Hudson came dressed to impress, hip-hop style, sporting a black hoodie, black pants and a lyrical spitting persona fit to a rap star’s caliber. Corden opened up the battle, jokingly jabbing at her American Idol rise to fame and starring as a second string star to Beyoncé in the 2006 Dreamgirls film.

"You remember J she got famous in the states / On American Idol for coming in seventh place,” he spit. “You won an Oscar for Dreamgirls, I get it / No one remembers you in that film because Beyoncé's in it."

Ensuring no one slept on her lyrical clapback, J. Hud spit her rebuttal with full-fledged savagery at Corden’s London citizenship and big belly banter.

"Listen, London knows you, James, that part is true / I can tell 'cause everyone here already hates you,” she rapped. “Your success in America brought us down to our knees / Singing, 'London, ya'll take this fool back please.”

The crowd’s energy and Corden’s hilarious reactions were enough to crown J. Hud as the unofficial winner, but her next line indefinitely verified a W for the songstress.

"Now no more fat jokes, 'cause it's below the belt / I mean it, though, but you can't see it, though / Just like your penis."
