This Former Destiny's Child Member Has Just One Thought on Who Can Outsing Beyoncé

*sips lemonade*

The best advice to offer, especially from former original Destiny’s Child member LaTavia Roberson herself, when attempting to throw shade on Beyoncé and her gifted musical craft is very simple: don’t.

And as a songstress who worked so closely to Queen Bey in her early years, Roberson promptly advised one Twitter user who tried it anyway.

The songwriter and vocalist tweeted a salute to model and feminist advocate Amber Rose for her unapologetic, NSFW Instagram photo that took the internet by shock and storm. When a fan of Roberson’s took the kudos to Amber as an opportunity to jab at Bey, the “Say My Name” singer shut it down accordingly.

“Yass queens supporting queens,” the user replied to Roberson’s tweet to Amber. “LaTavia I love you and you outsang Beyoncé.”

Channeling her inner Nicki Minaj, Roberson replied, “Nobody outsang Beyonce,” accordingly complete with one of Nicki’s sassiest GIFs.

You would think Twitter fans have learned to leave the treasured name of R&B’s legendary girl group and its members alone, especially after Roberson checked a fan earlier in the year for a violation. This particular user, dubbing her “dust” in comparison to Bey and Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland, was reminded by Roberson that the only dust she’d been associated with is the kind she was cleaning off of her Grammy Awards.

Bye, haters!
