With allegations of R. Kelly holding several young girls hostage while forcing them into sex, physical and mental abuse and complete brainwashing mind control swirling above his head as of Monday (July 17), the last place we’d expect to find the Trapped in the Closet artist is on Instagram.
But that’s where he ended up on Tuesday (July 18) with a motivational and inspiring post that follows up his rebuttal of the heinous claims. Fans promptly swarmed to his comments section thereafter, battling it out in either defense of the R&B idol or scathing choice words for him. As we know, there’s no place more dangerous than the internet, and after capturing some of what fans and non-fans alike had to say, it might be safest for the 50 year old to steer clear of social media for a while.
