Tyga Reveals Cash Money Owes Him $12 Million, Says He's Never Been Paid for 'Rack City'

He also explains why Rob and Chyna were doomed from the jump.

Tyga is in New York for his B***h I’m the S**t 2 project featuring hip-hop key players such as Kanye West, Pusha T and Quavo. So it’s only right that he would stop by The Breakfast Club with all the controversy surrounding his breakup with Kylie Jenner and the mess of his son’s mother Blac Chyna’s breakup with his ex-girlfriend’s brother Rob Kardashian (yes, we’ll give you some time to take all that in).

Whether we forgot about it or not, he was aligned with Birdman’s Cash Money at one point as well, and he claims he has a hefty $12 million debt owed to him from the label.

The trio host squad of the Power 105.1 morning show probed the Compton native on whether he would be taking his money matters with the label to court. In a surprising twist, however, he said that he’d rather see them clean things up with Lil Wayne first, who has been in legal strife with Birdman and Cash Money for over two years now.

“I’m in a position to where I just want Wayne to get what he’s owed,” Tyga responded. “I don't want to throw nothing more on that situation. I want to see Wayne prosper with that, and then I can go see.”

When Charlamagne Tha God mentioned the rumor that he “strong-armed” his way out of his contract with the label, he revealed that they owed him $12 million, presumably in payments such as unpaid royalties and the like. Of the songs he’s owed the monies for, one of which Charlamagne hilariously badgered, “Rack City” and “Molly” were at least two that he named. He added that after the Young Money collaborative “Bedrock” hit, he made the impulsive decision to sign, under Weezy’s influence, at only 17 years old.

Leave it to Charlamagne to dig in other touchy questions earlier in the interview, such as his breakup with Kylie. His unbothered reaction must have been due to his opinion that he didn’t take much of a loss from the split, even despite being with her through her plastic surgery transformations, as Charlamagne indelicately put it.

As for whether he’d ever date another Kardashian, issa no. But his forecast on Chyna’s relationship with Rob was evident for him. He claimed he always knew “a n***a like him wouldn’t be able to handle her.” He said the Kardashian brother wasn’t used to dealing with a woman of Chyna’s mentality and noted that he found out about the relationship Tyga from none other than the internet, so it was pretty much over before it started.

Well, there’s at least one popular opinion from the interview.
