Here's Proof That Usher Is Unbothered By The Drama

"I don't know aboutchall..."

What began as one woman claiming to have been receiving hush money from R&B icon Usher after allegedly contracting herpes from him has turned into a headline hurricane swirling with rumors, victim testimonies and shocking details from the controversy.

It seems as the weeks pass by, the STD fuss still isn’t letting up. But the Confessions crooner seems to be letting go of the drama, anyway. At least, that’s what it looks like in a new photo with veteran super producer Jermaine Dupri.

In the photo posted to Dupri’s Instagram account, Usher is cozied up comfortably on a couch during what appears to be a recording studio session. The So So Def founder, on the other hand, is pictured in cloud-nine vibes as he jumps with glee in front of the same couch.

“I don’t know aboutchall,” he wrote in the photo’s caption.

The last collaboration we’ve heard from Usher in 2017 was Chris Brown’s club banger “Party,” which received a rap assist from Gucci Mane as well. But returning to familiar studio territory with Dupri might be one of the best choices for him as he rides out the remainder of the year. The Atlanta natives have become one of hip-hop and R&B’s strongest songwriter and producer pairs to date, producing and co-writing Usher’s career landmark opuses, such as My Way and Confessions,, together.

If Usher is planning on laying low in the studio until the herpes fiasco blows over, however, expect the “Let It Burn” singer’s next album to be absolute fire.

See what JD and Usher may or may not be up to in the photo below.
