The Hurricane Maria crisis battering Puerto Rico has compelled a handful of Hollywood’s finest to step forth on their platforms to spread awareness and step in on relief and recovery efforts.

The staggering aftermath has left a vast majority of Puerto Ricans in total destitution with the death toll climbing higher each day. But though the island’s victims (who are just as American as were those from Texas and Florida) have been crying out for help amid the humanitarian crisis, White House occupant Donald Trump has opted to direct his focus elsewhere: the NFL.
