Rap Reunions
For every beef started, another is squashed — call it the rap circle of life. Hip hop's always made a big deal out of conflict. Battling, after all, is part of the culture. But, as a wise man most likely never said, sometimes the fruits of reconciliation can be just as delicious. Or just ask Peaches and Herb, who once sang "Reunited and it feels so good." Just ask Marky Mark, aka rapper-turned-actor Mark Wahlberg, and his old group the Funky Bunch, famous for their early '90s house-hop hit "Good Vibrations." A few days ago, Mark reportedly told a UK magazine he "might" get the group back together, now two of the Bunch's former members—Terry Yancey (aka DJ T) and Hector Barros (aka “The Booty Inspector”)—are saying they're down too. Will this unexpected reunion happen? Who knows—but in the meantime, whet your appetite with this list of other notable rap reunions.
