Eminemis not about to lose himself over the unauthorized use of his 2003 song lyrics. Instead, the Detroit rapper is letting the courts handle it. Em and his publishing company are suing the National Party in New Zealand after current Prime Minister John Key used his Grammy and Academy Award-winning song "Lose Yourself" in a re-election campaign ad without his permission. Additionally the suit filed Tuesday (Sept. 17) includes that Em and his camp plan to seek damages for copyright infringement.
But he's not the first to take it to the courts over copyrights and unpaid services. Read on.
