Lil Wayne Tha Carter

As the first in the "Carter" series, Wayne's fourth studio album cover debuted his now-signature dreadlocks and distinctively evolved lyrical style. Completely produced by Mannie Fresh, the album was released on June 29, 2004, and spawned the hit single "Go DJ," which scored Weezy an invitation to join highest-selling girl group Destiny's Child on their track "Soldier."
