KRS-One "Sound of Da Police"

Taking a cue from N.W.A's "F the Police" released five years earlier, KRS-One's "Sound of Da Police" (1993) speaks out against institutionalized racism — specifically oppression by police officers. On the track, the rapper likens officers to plantation overseers.
