Shawty Lo - Under the mounting pressure from parenting groups and upset consumers, Oxygen pulled the plug on the controversial special, All My Babies’ Mamas, yesterday [Jan. 15]. The ill-fated show was based on the life of Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo and his unconventional family structure that included 11 children and 10 baby mothers. The network gave the show the axe in huge part due to a petition that was signed by over 40,000 people and the threat of boycotts to any companies that sponsored the show. Now, Lo’s Babies' Mamas joins a list of reality shows starring hip hop stars that never made it to prime time. (Photo: Oxygen)

Fabolous - Other than a few passive comments in 2009, no one ever saw the reality series Fabolous was supposed to have, chronicling his life as a young father. We have, however, seen the Brooklyn rapper make some cameo appearances on Love and Hip Hop, which stars his baby mother Emily B.(Photo: Slaven Vlasic/Getty Images)

Plies - In 2008, during the height of his short-lived stardom, Plies sought to capitalize on one of his biggest hits, "Bust It Baby," by turning it into a reality show. The premise was simple: The Bachelor meets an even more ratchet version of Flavor of Love. Plies even held a casting day for the ill-fated show. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the reality series never actually got its chance to bust out as Plies dreamed it would.(Photo by Brad Barket/PictureGroup)
