Faith Evans

Releasing her platinum selling solo debut, Faith in 1995, singer/song-writer Faith Evans came to Bad Boy after contributing background vocals and song writing to Mary J. Blige’s classic My Life. Once there, Diddy signed Evans, who became “The First Lady of Bad Boy.” Then Evans married Bad Boy’s jewel, The Notorious BIG, which led to more turmoil but also the beautiful tribute “Missing You,” a tribute to Biggie’s death.  Evans released three albums on Bad Boy before moving to Capitol Records.
