Ceasefire: When Music Stars Call an End to Beef
As Confucius once said, for every beef started, another is squashed. Or maybe that was actually Poppa Wu? Either way, it's the cycle of rap beef, and it always holds true. One of rap's oldest, coldest feuds, between Keith Murray and Mobb Deep's Prodigy, appears to have come to a recent end. The two rappers have been taking shots at each other—on record, at clubs, in books, and online—since 1995. But with Prodidy tweeting the above photo of him and his former rival chilling with Busta Rhymes this past Sunday, June 17, it seems that cooler heads have finally prevailed. Of course, this isn't the first rap beef that's come to a peaceful conclusion. Click on to see some other notable hip hop ceasefires.
