Eminem vs. The Source magazine and Benzino

The exact origins of this beef were never clear, but The Source and its co-owner, rapper Benzino, went in on Eminem in the early and mid-2000s. They devoted two entire issues to dissing Em, digging up some old recordings in which he made racially charged remarks as a teenager. They even included a poster of Benzino holding Eminem's severed head in one issue. Meanwhile, Zino lit into Slim with several diss tracks of this own. Em apologized for the offensive lyrics, but there's no doubt who won this battle, as he's gone on to become one of the most successful and respected rappers of all time.
