Public Enemy and Anthrax

Nowadays, rap-rock collaborations are almost a cliché, but when pioneering raptivists Public Enemy hooked up with heavy-metal band Anthrax to remake their 1988 classic "Bring the Noise" in 1991, it was big news. The cover was a hit and was hugely influential to the rap-metal bands that emerged a few years later, like Limp Bizkit and Rage Against the Machine.
