Just Blaze, already a legend for his work with Jay-Z in the early 2000s, quietly had one of his best years in a while, producing highlights on some of 2011's best albums. He crafted Drake and Rick Ross' epic "Lord Knows" and the gut-punching title track to Maybach Music's Self-Made Vol. 1 compilation, and infiltrated The Roots' undun with "Stomp." Blaze also knocked Ross' "I Luv My B---hes" out of the park with a swaggering chipmunk-soul throwback.
