Album Sales

One measure of Biggie's impact is the impressive sales his albums have racked up since his passing. His classic debut, Ready to Die, has gone on to sell more than 4 million units. His seminal sophomore effort, Life After Death, released two weeks after his murder, is one of the top-selling hip hop albums of all time, earning diamond certification in 2000 — that's 10 million sold. Meanwhile, Born Again, a 1999 album of outtakes, rough cuts and remixes, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard, and eventually hit triple-platinum.
