2 Live Crew

Description: Miami bass legends 2 Live Crew made a point of thumbing their noses at censorship and obscenity laws. In 1990, a Florida judge declared that their hit album as Nasty as They Wanna Be was obscene and therefore couldn't be sold or performed in three counties. A defiant 2 Live performed the album at a concert a few days later, and were arrested immediately afterwards (they were later acquitted).
