After dissing New York, Lil Wayne has some beef in his hands. No, not from hometown hip hop heroes like Jay-Z or 50 Cent, but from New York State Senator Malcolm A. Smith. The Queens politican called a press conference in Times Square yesterday to demand an apology from Weezy for his recent comments to MTV that he "flat out" doesn't like New York. Smith said he “angry,” “taken aback” and “shocked.” Glad to know our tax dollars are hard at work! But this was just the latest salvo in the long, war of words between politicians and musicians.
