Beats and Beef: When Artists Clash With Their Producers
A$AP Rocky and SpaceGhostPurrp are both blog-buzz artists with an ear for spacey production and early '90s Southern rap, so it's only right that the two have collaborated frequently — highlighted by SGP-produced Rocky standout cut "Keep It G." But, given the rap world's intense competition, it's also no surprise that the two have started beefing recently. SGP and Rocky have been exchanging words via Twitter, videos and the press after a fight between their entourages. And it's not like beefs between rappers or singers and their beatmakers are that uncommon. Click on for a look back at some notable artist/producer clashes.
