Dr. Dre's stature waned after he attached his name to a few clunkers (The Firm, the pre-Eminem Aftermath Entertainment roster) in the seven years after his classic debut, The Chronic. But he resurrected his trademark G-funk — and his recording career — with this six-time platinum opus.
