June 2011: Chris Brown vs. Odd Future, Pt. 2
Chris Brown didn't keep his cool when another Twitter dispute, between him and Odd Future member Frank Ocean, popped off a few days later. It all started when Chris tweeted what seemed like a compliment, comparing Ocean to two successful R&B songwriters: "I f--k with Frank Ocean! Reminds me of a young James Fauntleroy or Kevin Cossum." Ocean didn't take it that way, though. Brown responded: "[It] was a compliment you b---h a-- n---a. Everybody claim to be the devil till they meet him...[F]--k odd future! The back-and-forth took a real-life turn after a YouTube video showing some Chris Brown associates harassing Ocean was posted online. Brown later squashed the beef with a tweet saying he "respects" Ocean's music.
