Cole's debut single was "Never," which featured Eve from the Barbershop 2: Back in Business soundtrack. The song would later become the closing track of Keyshia's first album, The Way It Is. The record went platinum with singles like "Love" and "I Changed My Mind," featuring Kanye West and Shyne.
