Nate Dogg

Nate Dogg introduced himself and his innovative half-rapped, half-sung style with a crazy performance at the end of "Deeez Nuuuts." He went on to become G-funk's signature crooner and hip hop's most in-demand hook man, landing Ludacris, 50 Cent, Fabolous and several other stars' hits with help from his unmistakable baritone. In 2007, he suffered the first in a series of strokes that left him partially paralyzed. Four years later, on March 15, 2011, Nate passed away due to complications caused by the multiple strokes. Rap choruses just haven't sounded the same since.
