Belittling Lil Wayne: Rappers Who've Dissed Weezy

A U.S. senator has joined in on the Tunechi slander.

Belittling Lil Wayne: Rappers Who've Dissed Weezy - This is rap beef on a new level. After Lil Wayne made derogatory comments about the Miami Heat at a Houston concert, the state’s Senator Marco Rubio, of all people, spoke up. Responding to Lil Wayne’s comments that he’s the “new Pac,” the Republican said, “Tupac lived in a different time. These guys have some message in what they're saying, but I think they're largely entertainers." Slight shade, yes, but Rubio’s comments are nothing compared to all the rappers that have been dissing Wayne over the years. Pitbull - On May 20, Cuba celebrates its 111th Independence Day. To pay tribute to the tiny island nation's emancipation from Spanish rule, we're going to throw back some mojitos and give a shout-out to our favorite Cuban celebs. Born Armando Christian Perez in Miami, rapper Pitbull brought a little island flavor to hip hop. The hit maker even named two of his albums, El Mariel and The Boatlift, after the 90-mile journey risked by many Cubans for a better life in Miami. (Photo:  C.M. Wiggins/WENN.com)

Pitbull - Pitbull didn’t take Lil Wayne’s comments about the Miami Heat lightly either. Earlier this week he dropped "Harlem Shake Remix (Welcome 2 Dade County)," a freestyle over Bauuer’s “Harlem Shake” beat, rapping, "You got money, yeah that's sweet / But we all know Slim and Baby really eat / You talk Miami, yes, you talkin' Heat / Moral of the story, don't s--t where you eat."  (Photo: C.M. Juvenile - Juvenile and Wayne came up together as members of the Hot Boys, but that didn't stop a war of words from breaking out between the two in the early 2000s. 50 Cent - Being shot nine times couldn't slow Curtis down, so we doubt a few zombies would get in his way. Now, if those creatures dressed up like Floyd Mayweather, then they might be able to get under his skin...  (Photo: Stephen Lovekin/Getty Images)
