Rappers and the Sports Teams They Root For

Music's game-time fanatics.

Rappers and the Sports Teams They Root For - Game 7 was more than a spectacular display of [Miami] athleticism. Courtside, Flo Rida's manager got ejected for heckling a Pacers player and Justin Bieber got heckled for wearing leather and possibly lip gloss (most likely it was the water he was sipping). Regardless, all parties will likely be on deck to watch how their Heat matches up against the Spurs in the finals. Drake and the University of Kentucky Wildcats - Drake wasn't with the University of Kentucky Wildcats when they were shooting in the gym, but got to do the next best thing. The Toronto rapper was announced as a narrator of the Turner Sports documentary Bluegrass Kingdom: The Gospel of Kentucky Basketball, set to air on TruTV next week. The film will break down the legacy of the legendary college basketball team. Drake's been a fan of the team for a while — he coached an alumni charity Wildcats game and has said coach John Calipari inspired him to get his high school diploma. Lil Wayne and the L.A. Lakers - We know Wayne supports the L.A. Lakers (he says he was kicked out of a Heat game for letting his fandom get the best of him). And we know he's a Green Bay Packers fan (he recorded "Green and Yellow" as a response to Wiz). No love for New Orelans, Weezy? (Photo: Noel Vasquez/Getty Images)

Jay-Z and the Brooklyn Nets - Jay is more than a fan of the Nets, he was once a part owner and the unofficial face of the franchise. Although, he certainly wasn't sitting courtside every game when the Nets were losing in epic fashion on the other side of the Hudson.(Photo: Jim McIsaac/Getty Images)

Snoop Dogg and the Pittsburgh Steelers - We're not sure how exactly Snoop became a Steelers fan — he's said he's been one since the team's 1970s dynasty days — but L.A. hasn't had a football team in almost 20 years. Either way, the Dogg blessed Wiz with a verse on the remix to the Steelers anthem "Black and Yellow."

Eminem and the Dallas Cowboys (and the Detroit Lions, Too) - We can't totally blame Em for his double allegiance. "Just for the record — I am a Lions fan first and foremost," he told GQ in an interview. "But growing up as a kid, the Lions were so bad for so long, that I picked up another team in the Cowboys." Fat Joe - "Courtside at the Knicks game, who's the don?" Fat Joe, of course, the one who reportedly brought Amar'e Stoudemire to the team and says that he was "born a Knicks fan." (Photo: James Devaney/WireImage)

Fat Joe and the New York Knicks - Even though he's moved to Miami, Fat Joe is often spotted courtside at Madison Square Garden rocking his old home teams' blue and orange. (Photo: James Devaney/WireImage)

Wale and the Washington Wizards - Wale is a well known "homer," giving his all to his DC home teams the Wizards (and Redskins, too). He recently made headlines for getting in a confrontation with TV commentators at a Wizards game after he heckled a Toronto Raptors player. (Photo: Moses Robinson/PictureGroup)

On the Scene - Rick Ross, who celebrated his 36th birthday on Jan. 28, is busy gearing up for his big Feb. 23 concert in Washington D.C. The show, also featuring Def Jam label-mate Jeremih, will take place at Dar Constitution Hall. Ross is also looking forward to the 2012 release of his next album, God Forgives...I Don't.

Rick Ross and the Miami Heat - Rick Ross is a proud supporter of his homeown Heat — he even asked LeBron and Dwyane Wade for a ring after the team won it all last year. Plus, the GIF parodying Ross' celebration when LeBron announced he was joining the team is arguably one of the best of all time. (Photo: Jlnphotography/WENN.com)

Bun B and the Houston Texans - Bun B reps his hometown Houston Texans harder than anyone else, trash-talking on Twitter every Sunday and sometimes appearing on ESPN talk shows to big up his team. He even recorded a "fight song" for the team last year. (Photo: Charley Gallay/Getty Images for Jordan Brand)
