Ike and Tina Turner

Following a string of hits in the '60s (including "Proud Mary") and a turbulent marriage, the rock 'n' soul duo Ike and Tina Turner divorced in 1977. The volatile Ike attempted to keep Tina's name in divorce negotiations.
