You're Fired: Musicians Who Got the Boot - Twitter may prove to be the downfall of yet another golden-era hip-hop group. Last night (May 6), Naughty By Nature front man Treach tweeted, "Vinnie from NAUGHTY BY NATURE is Officially FIRED," referring to fellow founding member Vin Rock. He walked back the statement today, insisting the group was still together but having internal problems. Either way, Vinnie's got plenty of company in case he needs a support group. Florence Ballard - After problems with alcoholism and weight gain and repeated conflicts with Motown head Berry Gordy and bandmate Diana Ross, Florence Ballard was kicked out of the Supremes and replaced by Cindy Birdsong when she supposedly showed up drunk to a show in Las Vegas in 1967.(Photo: Gilles Petard/Redferns)

David Ruffin - Similar to Ballard and the Supremes, David Ruffin was exiled from the Temptations due to a mix of substance abuse — cocaine, in his case — and repeated clashes with the rest of the group over finances and the spotlight. The last straw, though, was when Ruffin missed a Temptations show in June 1968 to catch a performance by his girlfriend. (Photo: Detroit Free Press/MCT /Landov)

Alfamega Exposed - The Smoking Gun was at it again in 2009, publishing an investigation that revealed that Alfamega, a tough-guy rapper signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle Entertainment, was a DEA informant in the 1990s. She says she was shooed away from the group thanks to its then producer/mentor Rick Rubin. "He and I did not get along," she later told New York magazine. "He was like a meathead sexist a--hole. Game - 50 Cent kicked Game out of his G-Unit crew/label during a 2005 interview on Hot 97, accusing him of disloyalty. Game and his crew confronted 50 and his entourage when he left the station, and the resulting clash led to a man being shot. Game and 50 still have beef to this day, despite an infamous man-hug at a press conference to announce their reconciliation. (Photo: REUTERS/Alex Gallardo)
