Milestones - Jay Z doesn't just sell our arenas, he makes history. The Boston tour stop made him the first black artist to headline Fenway Park since 1973 when Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and B.B. King helmed the Newport-New England Jazz Festival. (Photo: Matthew J. Lee/The Boston Globe via Getty Images)

Jay Z x Live Nation - Jay Z signed a $150 million dollar 10-year deal with the concert-promotion powerhouse Live Nation in 2008. The deal, which rocked the music industry as it illustrated a shift in control from the label to the artist, was the first of many colossal deals to come. In 2013, for example, he changed the rules with a record-breaking Samsung deal for the App release of Magna Carta Holy Grail, an agreement with Universal that makes Roc Nation a stand-alone label (á la Def Jam or Columbia), and the launching of Roc Nation Sports.(Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage)

High Rise - When the stadium lights drop, there's nothing like a grand entrance to hype up a sold-out crowd. The "Legends of the Summer" made sure to ascend from below the stage, like true superstars.  (Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage)

2. Rick Ross, Featuring Jay Z – 'Maybach Music' - The Boss stunted hard here as he spoke his future label into existence on this smoothed out J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League-produced track from Trilla. Not to be outdone, Jigga brought his true-to-life rhymes to the table as the two rapped about living their luxurious lives and riding in one of the finest automobiles ever made. The perfect track to sit back and enjoy life to while puffing on a Cuban, the cut samples the Friends of Distinction's breezy '70s love track, "And I Love Him." Hov's lyrics drew pictures as he put the song into perspective with rhymes like, "But I don't see the ending through these millionaire lenses/ Just the Two M's on the emblem/ The partition roof, translucent and humidor/ Where refrigerators, where Ace of Spades two I store!"(Photos from left: Kevin Win...
