Jay Electronica vs. RZA - Jay Electronica, a N'awlin's-born rapper who signed to Roc Nation, may have come up on Wu-Tang, but he held a serious grudge over an interview RZA did during which he said something about the South not having the education to be lyrical. RZA stuck to his guns, later explaining that it's a timing thing — he noticed the lack of education with his parent's generation — and conceded that now with the Internet, the information playing field is more leveled. Both eventually made the same point: the difference in education really has to do with a difference in culture.(Photos from left: Christopher Polk/Getty Images, Johnny Nunez/WireImage)

Jay Z vs. Lil Wayne - The beef between these two has been longstanding and marinated in subliminal shots. It hit its peak in 2011 when Jay rapped on Kanye's "HAM," "I'm like, 'Really: half a billi n---a, really?' You got baby money/Keep it real with n---as, n---as ain't got my lady's money." Weezy shot back on Carter  IV , "I got your baby money / Kidnap your b---h, get that how-much-you-love-your-lady? money."(Photos from left: Frank Micelotta/PictureGroup, (fafotos/picturegroup)

50 Cent vs. T.I. - This tiff was an example of when tweeting goes bad. The problem started when 50 caught wind of T.I.'s reaction to the G-Unit rapper's opinion on what Tiny should have done in Tip's court case on drug charges. T.I. responded in an interview. And Fif responded with another tweet. And before things got out of hand, the two hopped on the phone and squashed it.   (Photos from left: Alberto E. 50 Cent vs. Rick Ross - In yet another rapper versus 50 Cent saga, Rick Ross misperceived a glance from the beef-ready rhymer at the 2009 BET Awards as a diss. On wax, Rozay fired the first shot with the track "Mafia Music." 50 responded with "Warning Shot." (Photos from left: Michael Becker/Fox/PictureGroup,(Jeff Daly/PictureGroup)

Joe Budden vs. Trinidad James - When Jersey City MC Joe Budden responded to Kendrick Lamar's much-heralded verse on "Control," he used Atlanta-based rapper Trinidad James as a punchline. Needless to say, TJ was not happy and looked to confront Joe face-to-face.   (Photos from left: Jenny Risher / Universal Music, Ilya S. Savenok/Getty Images)

Nas vs. Jeezy - Back in 2006, Nas audaciously declared the death of hip hop, and, of course, some rappers begged to differ. One especially vocal one was a then newcomer, Young Jeezy, who in interviews said he felt Nas was being a crotchety old rapper. They eventually mutually agreed to kill their feud.   (Photos from left: WENN.com, Chris McKay/Getty Images)
