The Year of the Hat - The 2014 year at the Grammy's was all about Pharrell's return to the limelight. On the night of the Grammy's, he debuted a hat that was the star of all the memes for the following months. This was also the year that Macklemore swept rap categories creating some much needed conversation regarding cultural appropriation in rap. Yikes. We forgot who even won awards. Kidding.
