Started From the Bottom - Tyler wasn't always packing concerts and getting the major bucks for his show bookings, but one of his first paid gigs helped fuel his passion. “My first big check came in 2010 at the Low End Theory. It was five of us and they paid us like $500 to do a 30-minute set. We were broke then and we split that and we thought we were so on.”(Photo: Roger Kisby/Getty Images)

I tweet early in the morning when I wake up or late at night just to let you know that I have a show or what’s on my mind and that’s it. I hate Snapchat and all of that. It's making kids so stupid," he said. (Photo: Rahav Segev/Getty Images)

Maverick - No MC's career lasts forever, but Tyler may walk away from the game before he reaches his peak. “I really want to sing but my tone of voice is really too deep to do what I want. So now I’m just listening to Isaac Hayes and Barry White and people like that to see how they used their voice but I hate rapping only because it puts you in this box. I’m talented enough to do other things but I’m pretty bored with it and it’s not interesting.” (Photo: Jason Merritt/Getty Images for Spike)

Post Racism? - Tyler spoke on his love for offensive language and revealed his favorite word is “f--k.” Being called the N-word also doesn't faze him, no matter the race. It is a double standard, though, when someone who doesn't have the same skin tone as me says it, which… is really weird because then they are keeping the original meaning alive and giving certain words power."(Photo: CV_imageSPACE / Splash News)

So instead of backing me up or standing up for me because they knew it was no type of negative light, they decided to back out and let me be there alone, which worked out for the best and I'm so glad that happened."(Photo: PepsiCo)
