Prince vs. Lil' Mo  - Prince and Lil Mo got into it one year during The Essence Music Festival. The R&B Diva was kept from using the bathroom while his Purpleness was making his way to the stage, so Mo went on a Twitter tirade, typing, "had VIP passes to meander the whole superdome dude talmbout 'we gotta hold the walk through cuz PRINCE coming through the back.' b---h wtf. I don't want to see him. I had to PEE."Not done yet, she then posted a diss towards his performance with, "But he didn't eem hit all the damn notes."Prince jabbed back with a series of now deleted posts that included him giving a side-eye with the caption: "WINNER OF THE CAPTION THIS PICTURE THANG: 'I hope she know, none of her clothes match.'" Maybe Lil Mo didn't know, but Prince is battle-tested. (Photos from Left: Kevin Winter/Getty Images for NCLR, Ange...

Prince vs. Madonna - Prince and Madonna briefly dated in the '80s and were labelmates but the friendship quickly went left. He told Billboard in 2013 that a lot of his previous issues with Warner Bros. were because of the pop diva. "It was always about Madonna. She was getting paid, but at the same time we were selling more records and selling out concerts on multiple nights."Madonna also spoke of their brief time together in a 1994 interview stating, "[He] was a little troll. He was just sipping tea, very daintily. I have this theory about people who don't eat. They annoy me."(Photos from Left: Kevin Winter/Getty Images; Frank Micelotta/PictureGroup)

Prince vs. Rick James - Rick James and Prince never quite saw eye-to-eye and James even claimed that Prince snubbed his mother by refusing to give her an autograph, which set the feud in motion. Prince actually used to open for James, and at the height of the rivalry, it was reported that Prince sat on his bodyguard's shoulder as he walked through the crowd, which drew some of the spotlight away from The Superfreak's performance.(Photos from Left: Staff/Getty Images, WENN.com)

Prince vs. Maroon 5 - The man who put Minneapolis on the music map wasn't pleased in 2012 when Maroon 5 took a shot at his classic hit "Kiss." When asked about the cover, Prince stated to Billboard, "Why do we need to hear another cover of a song someone else did? Art is about building a new foundation, not just laying something on top of what's already there."(Photos from Left: Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images, Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

Prince vs. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis - Prince obviously felt some type of way when he fired Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis from The Time because they missed a concert date. The duo were moonlighting and producing for the S.O.S. Band (which Prince wasn't fond of) when they were trapped by a snow storm and couldn't make a flight for a show. After relieving them of their duties, Prince told Jesse Johnson of The Time, "You'll never hear from those guys again."Obviously wrong, the Grammy Award-winning duo went on to produce No. 1 records for the likes of Janet Jackson, Usher, George Michael, Mariah Carey and countless others.  (Photos from Left: Kevin Mazur/NPG Records 2010/Getty Images, Paul Morigi/Getty Images for BET)

Prince vs. Sinead O'Connor - Prince has kicked a fuss over the years with people re-recording his songs, although he's covered a few hits as well. He and Sinead O'Connor have exchanged words over the years mostly because she scored a huge hit with "Nothing Compares 2 U," a track by Prince's side group The Family which he wrote and produced. O'Connor told U.K. paper The Mirror she exchanged words and blows with Prince back in the '90s when they met face to face, and years later, when fans at a 2005 concert shouted "Prince!" during an encore, Sinead responded, "F--k that f---ing midget!"(Photos from Left: Kevin Mazur/WireImage for NPG Records 2013/Getty Images, Jason Kempin/Getty Images)

Prince vs. Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones) - Before becoming a headlining act, Prince used to open for The Rolling Stones and apparently rubbed their guitarist Keith Richards the wrong way. In a 1983 interview with Musician Magazine, Richards was asked about Prince's "Little Red Corvette." His response wasn't too flattering. "Prince trying to be Stevie Wonder," he said. "... I wish him luck. He's got a problem with his attitude and it comes across on record. Prince has to find out what it means to be a prince. That's the trouble with conferring a title on yourself before you've proved it. That was his attitude when he opened for us on tour, and it was insulting to our audience. You don't try to knock off the headline like that when you're playing a Stones crowd. You'd be much better off just being yourself and projecting that. He's a prince who th...

Prince vs. Justin Timberlake - Prince wasn't feeling Justin Timberlake back in 2006 when the blue-eyed crooner was at the top of the charts with "Sexy Back." When asked what he thought of the track, Prince's response was that "sexy" never left. Justin then responded back with a subliminal diss on the Timbaland track "Give It to Me" when he sang, "Could you speak up and stop mumbling/I don't think you're even clear/When you're sitting on the top it's hard to hear you from way up here/I saw you tryin' to act cute on TV/Just let me clear the air/We missed you on the charts last week/Damn, that's right, you wasn’t there."(Photos from Left: Frank Micelotta/PictureGroup, Lamond Goodloe/PictureGroup)

Prince vs. Boy George - Prince and the Revolution and Boy George and Culture Club used to battle it out in the '80s for chart supremacy, but the tension was a little deeper than a battle of the bands competition. The "Karma Chameleon" singer was reported as once referring to the Minneapolis singer as  "a dwarf who's been dipped in a bucket of pubic hair." He also referred to Prince as "the artist formerly known as Get a Personality." (Photos from Left: Frank Micelotta/Getty Images, Samir Hussein/Getty Images)

Prince vs. Michael Jackson - The Purple One was notably absent from U.S.A. for Africa's charity hit "We Are the World" in 1985, which was spearheaded by Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. As the story goes, Prince was asked to be a part of the hit and was scheduled to come and record vocals but didn't phone in until two days later to ask if any guitar riffs were needed. Prince and The Revolution did submit a track called "4 the Tears in Your Eyes" for the album, but he still refused to sing the song 10 years later to commemorate it's anniversary at the American Music Awards. As the other stars performed, Prince stood on stage sucking on a lollipop and when Quincy put the mic to his face to sing, Prince offered Q a lick of his sucker as it appeared that someone forgot to check their ego at the door. (Photos from Left: Donald Miralle/G...
