Jay Hova will put on a concert in New York City featuring only his B-sides and rarest cuts to strong-arm non-believers into signing up for his new streaming service. It’s the show that Jay Z fans have been waiting for since back when Usher rocked a U chain. And only Tidal subscribers are allowed. Talk about the okey-doke. Come up off that $20, pleighboi. Of course longtime fans will be amped to hear Jigga dig deep into his catalog — back when he was rapping alongside Jaz-O and Sauce Money and Mic Geronimo — as well as more contemporary deep album cuts. 'Anything' (Beanie Sigel’s The Truth, 2000) - Jay Z tacked this sentimental cut onto Beanie Sigel’s debut LP as a bonus track, but it still sounds like a “Hard Knock Life” knockoff.(Photo: Rick Kern/Getty Images for Samsung)

“Off That,” Featuring Drake (The Blueprint 3, 2009) - Even Drake has said he regrets recording this lukewarm collaboration with Jay Z that futilely tried to kill trends like Timberland boots, making it rain at the strip club and telling women you love them (huh?). Also, chances are Jay will be wearing Timbs during his performance. So, yeah, we’re off this.(Photo: Kevin Mazur/Getty Images)

'Things That U Do,' Featuring Mariah Carey (Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter, 1999) - Flutes and hip hop just don’t go together. Unless they’re champagne flutes. Filled with Ace of Spades. Because Cristal — we off that (remember?).(Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)

'Welcome to New York City' With Cam’ron and Juelz Santana (Cam’ron’s Come Home With Me, 2002) - Save for some tracks off Best of Both Worlds and Unfinished Business with R. Kelly (both albums also wiped from memory by Illuminati, smh), this is one of Jigga’s most disappointing collaborations. It’s basically a rough, rough draft of “Empire State of Mind,” seven years early.(Photo: Eugene Gologursky/Getty Images for SoundCTRL/Flash FWD)

'Hey Papi,' Featuring Memphis Bleek and Amil (Nutty Professor II: The Klumps Soundtrack, 2000) - No one thinks it’s weird that a song called “Hey Papi” has not even one Hispanic person in the credits? 'Hollywood,' Featuring Beyoncé (Kingdom Come, 2006) - Bringing this back will not excite fans about the rumored Carters’ collabo LP that maybe, probably, most likely will drop exclusively on Tidal, for sure.(Photo: Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images)
