Our Favorite Brandy Singles - With the release of Brandy’s debut album in 1994 the world was introduced to beautifully bright-eyed 15-year-old singer. With her husky and melodic voice, Brandy released hit albums and singles alongside her starring role on the TV show Moesha. Brandy’s work on her TV show might have made us forget that her first passion was her recorded music. As we prepare for her small screen return with Zoe Ever After, let’s go down memory lane and revisit Brandy’s 10 best singles. —Jon Reyes(Photo: John Sciulli/Getty Images for NAACP Image Awards)

Brandy, Featuring Chris Brown – 'Put It Down' - Brown came through with the assist on R&B veteran Brandy's comeback "Put It Down" in 2012. Not needing Brown's help on the vocal end, Chris came through demolishing the mic with his rapping skills, spitting, "I'm sipping on that brandy/ That liquor comes in handy/ And girl I know you fancy/ But this party I'm financing."(Photo: RCA Records)

10. 'Put It Down,' Featuring Chris Brown (2012) - This playful and catchy duet with Chris Brown was the lead single to her Two Eleven album. The material was a lot less serious and prolific than what she had released over the years, but it was much welcomed. It made it to the #3 spot on the R&B charts.(Photo: RCA Records)

9. 'I Wanna Be Down' (1994) - Brandy’s first single off her self-titled debut was enough to have us hooked. Co-written and produced by Keith Crouch (who would go on to write for Maxwell, Toni Braxton and Tamia), the track was a sweet ode to innocence. The video is a classic that features Kangol hats and singing into rotary phones. We miss the '90s. Also shout out to the remix, which featured Queen Latifah, Yo-Yo and MC Lyte.(Photo: Atlantic Records)

7. 'Brokenhearted' Duet With Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men (1995) - If you ever doubt anyone’s vocal power just sit them next to Wanya and have them sing. This ultimate duet was a gorgeous remix to Brandy’s original track on her debut album. After touring with Boyz II Men, the idea came to record a duet with Morris and it was a great one.(Photo: Sony/ATV Music)

6. 'Talk About Our Love,' Featuring Kanye West (2004) - ”Talk About Our Love” was the lead single off Afrodisiac and the only track produced by Kanye. 5. 'Have You Ever' (1998) - "Have You Ever" proved that Brandy can really carry a tune written for the pop charts. Still, Brandy drove the sad song home with her signature raspy vocal runs. Only a true R&B vocalist could do that. The song made it all the way to #1 on the R&B charts.(Photo: Atlantic Records)

4. 'Baby' (1994) - ”Baby” borders on new jack swing and it’s an absolute gem. With this record, Brandy seemed to prove that, while she was young, she could still carry grown-up records without being overly sexual. Just peep the video for various '90s fashions we probably won’t miss.(Photo: Atlantic Records)

3. 'Full Moon' (2002) - The second single off her third album, Full Moon, found the singer veering off from just working with Rodney Jerkins. Mike City jumped in to write and produce this smooth record. It makes you wonder what other bangers she could have come up with if she had taken a break from the Rodney Jerkins production factory.(Photo: Atlantic Records)

'Sitting Up in My Room' - Brandy's “Sitting Up in My Room” from the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack is one of Brandy's most memorable songs. Brandy rocks her signature braids and shows off her '90s swag with her ever-changing styles as she cooly rocks out in her room. (Photo: Arista Records)

1. 'The Boy Is Mine' Duet With Monica (1998) - Probably the biggest hit of Brandy’s career. The duet with Monica where they’re both fighting over a wack boy made it to the top of the charts. Quite frankly it’s a bona-fide classic fit for the ages.(Photo: Atlantic Recordings)
