Rock and Hip Hop - During an outstanding Oscar monologue and critically acclaimed hosting stint at last night's Oscars, Chris Rock performed a sick balancing act as a master of ceremonies and speaking out on the Oscars diversity issues. Plus, when a host closes out the show by mentioning Brooklyn, BET and Black Lives Matter in mere seconds, he did good. The show even closed out with the house band playing "Hollywood Swinging" and the closing credits were rolling while Public Enemy's "Fight the Power" blared on network TV.Chris Rock’s affinity for hip hop has been at the forefront of his stand-up comedy and more so in his off-stage creations. Let's celebrate his awesome Oscar gig with some of the best hip hop moments in his career. — Jon Reyes (Photo: Caroline McCredie/Getty Images for Paramount Pictures)

Chris Rock - "We can't have gay marriage 'cause marriage is sacred? It happens in the church? Marriage is sacred? It's sacred?  No, it's not! Not in America. Not in a country that watches Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire? and The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and Who Wants to Marry a Midget. Get the f**k out of here! S**t, Michael Jackson got married, how f***ing sacred is that s**t?"  (Photo: Rob Kim/Getty Images)

Kanye West's 'The Blame Game' and Method Man's 'You Play Too Much' - This legendary feature on Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy added insane color to the already dynamic album. Chris Rock’s vocals over John Legend's piano playing, while inferring to Amber Rose’s come up in the celebrity world was purposeful and hilarious all at the same time. Then of course there was Rock's intro off Method Man's Tical 2000: Judgment Day, where he made an extended joke about Meth having way too many aliases. Only Rock would have the guts to do that to the Ticallion Stallion. Too funny.(Photo: Rob Kim/Getty Images)

Not Listing Eminem - During the media blitz for his movie Top 5 in 2014, he was asked to list his Top 5 favorite rappers and every time he did, it seemed people were up in arms about not listing Eminem as one of them. Champagne - His hilarious satire of rap videos at the time is still funny. Chris definitely takes a Puff Daddy persona in it and digs in and even parodies a Missy video.(Photo: Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images)
