Weekly Round Up: RIP Maurice White and DJ Big Kap

Wow, what a week.

7 Days Gone - Alright folks, it was also another week's worth of music news out in these streets. The Iowa Caucus took place and a Twitter rapper finally decided who she’d like to endorse. Sidebar, Game didn’t have a good week. And of course we got some Kanye news because heaven forbid we take our attention elsewhere. In the saddest news of the week, hip hop lost one of its leaders, DJ Big Kap, and music pioneer Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire lost his battle with Parkinson's Disease. We send our most heartfelt condolences. Let’s take a look at the past seven days. —Jon Reyes(Photo: 2/Ocean/Corbis)

Kanye Album Update - It just won’t stop. Mr. West has changed the name of his album once again, or actually he’s stripped the album of its name. He thinks he’s hilarious.(Photo: Andreas Rentz/Getty Images)
