A Tribe Called Quest's Phife Dawg Breaks Into Tears at Doc. Premiere

Since buzz on Michael Rapaport's documentary Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest has grown since the start of the Sundance Film Festival, rapper Q-Tip has made his disapproval of the film known. Shortly after the trailer's release, Tribe's lead rhymer took to Twitter saying: "The filmmaker should respect the band to the point of honoring the few requests that's was made about the piece."

While Tip and fellow Tribe members non-support of Rapaport's film was apparent on the Web, Vulture.com reports there was shock at the Sundance premiere when Phife Dawg approached the mic to give a few words about Tip, the documentary, and the mindframe of his bandmate....watch the video.
