Ne-Yo will be broadening his writing skills to a new genre—cartoons.  According to Yahoo, the Grammy-winning songwriter closed a deal with The Cartoon Network to produce his own show.

The show, I Heart Tuesdays, is about a 16-year-old girl who inherits the curse of her bloodline, which forces her to save the world from unknown evil every Tuesday for the rest of her life.

Ne-Yo, who says he created the show for his sister, also added that production will start soon.

In the meantime, catch Ne-Yo flexing his acting chops in Battle: Los Angeles.
