Solange Knowles is using her voice to raise awareness—and money—for a good cause.  The singer recorded a charity single, “Kenya,” to benefit Coca-Cola's Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN), which is dedicated to helping the 300 million Africans lacking access to safe water.

“Water is a necessity, it's not a privilege. The Music for RAIN project gives everyone a chance to contribute and play a part in improving the situation," she said.  Solange adds her background vocals to the heavily instrumental track produced by Chris Taylor and Twin Shadow.

Funds raised from the single are to go towards three big projects: building a girls' latrine school in Rwanda, constructing a rainwater harvesting roof in Uganda, and purchasing water containers for families in Cameroon.
