As the days pass it looks less and less likely that a sex tape featuring Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, will be available for wide consumption.

TMZ reports that the head of porn production company Vivid Entertainment has reached out to Usher in an effort to stop distribution of the tape.

Steve Hirsch has been at the helm of multiple sex tapes—most notably one featuring Kim Kardashian—but in this instance wants to help shut it down.

In his letter to Usher, Hirsch writes: "As a result of this being an intimate and very personal tape we can certainly understand why you would want to stop its distribution."  Hirsch says he’s stopped the distribution of multiple sex tapes featuring celebrities.

Meanwhile, the other half of the alleged tape wants to make it clear that she had no idea such a tape existed.

A rep for Tameka said: “Ms. Raymond has not seen the alleged video and had no knowledge that such a video existed.  She is certainly unhappy about it. There is no further comment at this time."
