Funny lady Maya Rudolph has reunited with some of her former Saturday Night Live colleagues for an NBC comedy pilot, according to Deadline. Lorne Michaels, who is Rudolph’s former boss, and ex-SNL writer Emily Spivey are the creative minds behind the forthcoming show (Michaels is the executive producer). Rudolph will costar opposite Christina Applegate.

The project is currently untitled, but it’s described as an irreverent look at parenthood through the eyes of a sardonic working mother (Applegate) who never expected motherhood to be part of her life’s path. She has a househusband and opinionated parents, and Rudolph will play her coworker and best friend.

Rudolph has also been busy in the film world. She will star on the big screen with another SNL associate, Kristen Wiig, in Bridesmaids, which opens on May 13.
